@Std 8 maths genius. Can you please start by assuming the Salima-Lilongwe project is the reasonable cost and see what the Likhubula-Bt cost should be?

A typical MANEB Std 8 maths exam question: If a project to construct a 70Km pipeline to supply BT with 20 million litres of water per day cost U$23.5m calculate the cost of constructing a 130Km pipeline to LL to supply 50 million litres of water per day. Answer: BT project cost/km/litre = U$23,500,000/70Km/20,000,000 litres = $0.017/km/litre. Therefore LL project cost = U$0.017/km/litre x 130Km x 50,000,000 litres = U$109.1 million!! CORRECT. LWB = U$500m. FAILED
