It is against the law to punish a thief? You are kidding us police. Tell the thieves to stop stealing to spare their lives, simple. We cannot stop because of the pain we go through to get our properties.Had it been that the govt will re-emberse us all our lost things that could be understandable. What happens after you are back to zero. Guys kill the thief if you spare them tgey will come back for you well armed. Be claver guys!

Set them free. A thief is a dangerous person. The good thing is that Malawi is one thief less.

This is not pre-meditated murder in Law. So these people must be charged for manslaughter, and could get away with suspended sentences.
