Fellow Malawians, our able president has ably declared that in Malawi we don’t have any single female who is capable of handling critical issues. Your Excellency sir, NEVER EVER stand on any podium and tell us that you respect our women (or anything along that line) because I for one will throw it right back into your face! Mwamva kodi?

Are these family of Mutharikas’ parastatals? Why choosing his cousins and nephews only. Nepotism and regionalism at it’s best. No wonder he is failing to fire his home boy minister of agriculture and his cousin Mulumbe?

Mr. President we know you appoint your relatives and party faithfuls and mafumu. In this selection, do you really consider the bigger question of delivery? I know a few who on these appointments esp ADMARC who cannot contribute anything to get to a strategic decision for any institution’s progress. Am sure if you asked Mumderanji a question or asked him to explain anything, you will not get anything. And this can be embarrasing. Do they have terms of reference. Do they have deliverables. If the answer is no then these will yield empty results. Performance is not achieved by chance, there should be systems to track progress. How do you just create jobs with no standards. That is why Malawi is not developing. When Tanzania and Zambia are now trekking towards middle income economies, Malawi is busy filling top vacancies without any vision. Oh! This is discouraging.

Mr.President, also appoint a capable and competent Commissioner Of Statistics if the Census 2018 has to materialise. The current leadership would not succeed in this noble task. The government and donors will spend a lot of money with no result..

Is thete a female in thrse two boarfs? What is wrong with Malawi sidelining women in decision making position. No wonder the country is not developing. There are many educated, efficient effective women who can help turn round the country to prosperity. SHAME On YOU LEADERS.

… about time, APM.
And changes should be made in other areas, like BWB, SRWB, and ESCOM. The lack of competency and urgency in many of our quasi-government bodies will sink your party in 2019, if you don”t watch out. We need improvements in many areas in this country.
Man, you have to be quick in making these sort of changes, otherwise people may believe you are a slow thinker.
