Chilima would have assisted the country by going into specifics. Generalisation may not assist much in this case. The President cannot act on heresay. He needed to mention specific instances of such corrupt practices for proper follow-up.
Why have you journalists not asked Saulosi to respond to accusations of helping DPP rig elections in 2014. Wasn’t he part and parcel of covering up irregularities so that him and APM should be sworn in in a rush. How about this Moses guy who was caught impersonating a MEC officer and happens to be the VPs assistant. Who do we think sent him. And didn’t he himself employ cousins and friends as his Advisors
Chilima was hired to rig the 2014 elections, work was done and paid as Vice President. He argues he and APM made a successful campaign, sure? All the DPP has blood in their hands. In any case, Chilima is wrong in exposing the shenanigans within the party. He accepted the VP post knowing very well what DPP represents (If he didn’t know surely his smart wife must have told him). He has broken the pact and therefore not worthy responding to. maybe Gondwe was right after all that he is “mwana”. malawians should not be fooled that Chilima is clean….remember he is a DPP member
Forget APM will ever comment on such. It is because he is the ARCHITECT of NEPOTISM, CORRUPTION and LHOMWELISATION of the country. This is his tramp card for elections aka “JOKALA” owinila ma elections.
In other words he insightfully realises he has absolutely nothing else to offer or appealing for the electorate. He simply doesn’t inspire confidence.
