APM told Lagarde what she wanted to hear. A trick to get cash for the coming general elections. Anayiwerenga bwino!!! The next move will be “give us the cash to get this legislation enacted” .But before pushing it to Malawians in general try it in DPP. This will be like another Nsanje Inland Port. In this country we have alot of capable women who can fight and win their election battles without being put on the back of some legislation. Thank you Mr President. If there is one thing I like about the Mutharikas it is their interest in the promotion of women. One request though – put more women in the cabinet too!

For God’s sake.Muthalika has lost his sense of understanding.That is not democracy as we know it,this system he is trying to impose on Malawians is both unlialistic and unheard of.We must not dwell on gender,for in Malawi and I dare to say that in Africa women are free to stand for elections to prove their credibility.Why does the President underrate women’s ability to compete with men?
