Even Muluzi whom we knew had no tangible qualifications understood the need for education as a means to achieve development in Malawi, he introduced free primary school education. Now we have a professor as a president and equally an eminent academician as Minister of Education and they are doing what we all know is not good for the country!!

MR PRESIDENT, LISTENING TO THE CRIES OF THE PEOPLE, DON’T ABOLISH JC….. BRING IN SOUND POLICIES BY SOURCING IDEAS FROM THE PEOPLE ACROSS THE COUNTRY……..I CAN BE PART OF SUCH GOOD CITIZENS WHO WOULD WANT EDUCATION GO BACK TO NORMAL

All the TV adverts for the mlakho event were showing young girls and women dancing in sexually explicit or graphic ways. So, why would the president attend such cultural events and talk about education drop-outs when the culture being promoted is all about sex?

it seems the president knows that the districts of such high school droP-out are right in his teritory,(LOMWE-BELT) but then why do they hate north by blocking their kids via quota system? i cant understand this , well done peter to have come in the open, am sure u said this out of pain because this was a cultural festival and not an education event, u know very well why Lomwe belt has many school drop outs rate of 92% who end up farming as tenants up north and kasungu, the only slaves in Malawi who work in trivial jobs… Read more »

One day I listened to the Minister of Rducation. Mr.Fabiano on the policy of writing examinable exams in Secondary school once. His response was pathetic when he was asked the idea that some students would engage in a social loafing gear knowing that exams are four years away. His response was ” The duty of making sure that students work hard at school and not quit lies in parents, and government wants results only after schooling.” This was pathetic. With the alarming ileteracy levels government is supposed to come up with deliberate policies to make sure that students stay in… Read more »

The districts are well known to all Malawians because they are good at promoting chigololo right from the tender age. Sex is part of their culture.
