I like the comment that says Poly students and prisoners should help in moulding and building structures for the war veterans. I wanted to print this article but am failing. that’s a very good suggestion. Maybe the Deputy Minister can be given a copy of it so that he can see how to go about it. How do you assist Nyasa times?

THANKS MR PRESIDENT FOR YOUR COLOURFUL REMARKS, BUT JUST TO PONIT OUT SOME OF THE SOLDIERS HAVE BEEN BURRIED TO THAT TICKET= FROM THE ISLANDS OF LIKOMA, CHIZUMULU TREASURE ISLAND, MAKANJILA, USISYA,JALAWE, NAMBUMA,

Why not ask final year architect students and their lecturers at Poly to design cheap 2 bed roomed self contained building units for the veterans. We can then build 1000 standard units for them across the country. Get Malawi prison to mobilize prisoners from nearest prisons to mold and bake bricks, take off 10% of their prison time for all those participating in the brick making so they can be motivated to make good quality bricks. There after get builders and assistants, again prisoners, to build the units. Students from our technical school could then wire and put plumbing facilities… Read more »
