This is the parable of all politicians especially those who want to remain in office/power for a life time.They offer so many incentives then take it back in taxes. Many go against God’s will for the nation and forgetting that you and I are outing here contemplating that one day our son/daughter/grandchild/neighbor will be the next leader to some day take the country forward and not 10 times backwards. Gulu Lina la vitsilu ndiye aphunzitsi, I believe they allow government machinery to abuse them and can’t claim what belong to them. Though I’ve generalized in here, but I feel pity for them.

Problem is that the majority of civil servants, the low paid ones, were not at the party. You won’t get their vote.

For four solid years it never crossed your mind about houses for the civil servants because the OPC in conjunction with the ministry of Home Affairs have been constructing staff houses for the police. All of them are no longer commuting from rent houses what a feat! The truth is that these grand achievements including such capital projects are matchless in our history. No lip service what a pragmatic leader who combines words with deeds.
