I wonder what advice the president receives from his so-called advisors. Some things are better left unsaid. Being known for short speeches during rallies and national functions the president could skip that responsibility shifting portion of his speech and still act like a chancellor. But this is Malawi. Ntata has brought a very educative piece. Bravo. Koma mudzichita choncho without wearing partisan face even if mutafumbata sikono.

Education is a right on the context that government should provide such education . It is therefore every citizen’s right to access University education. Free University education is however not a right as some fools are meant to believe.

Why should this government want to better educate the population? If they did, then the population might stop voting along tribal lines and think more deeply about political and developmental issues that could benefit the country. But then politicians would not be able to continue allowing corruption, inefficiency. No, a poorly educated population suits them much better! No motivation to change the status quo!
