Let Mr Mayor go to Hope Investments in Mzuzu and buy something. He will not even get a cash sale, far less an EFD receipt – and that applies to high cost items such as TVs, fridges etc. This is all done so blatantly that Hope appears not to fear that the MRA will investigate them.
I feel whoever this James Phiri is, he is trying to be personal, I have bought the said items before at hope Investment but at all times i have been issued with the EFD reciept, it is unfair to attack someone like this and on a public discussion for that matter to me it simply shows this Phiri simply has personal grudges against Hope Investment, let this Phiri come in the open and produce evidence, after all every person has the right to ask for the receipt, and if you Phiri were not given a receipt and you know how… Read more »
