There’s a great problem in Africa we are stuck in sixties and seventies. phd is at research based level..we shouldn’t be conducting our own research’s in Malawi. Because of the huge financial cost associatied with it..in western countries they switched from the unconscious biased thinking that those with a higher degree will have skills greater than those with a lower degree. The best mechanic…manager..etc isn’t tnecessarily the one with a higher degree will n that Field. Experience and application of knowledge plus skills to problem solving solution is what these days. Nankhumwa typical of most selfish DPP gurus may be having his own FAKE definition of PATRIOTISM. He may also be congratulating Goodall for fraudulently allocating K4M billion as ??? crucial MPs constituency developmental funds, bonus money with unknown source???
However, the other fact Nankhumwa and others may choose to deliberately IGNORE for their own political conveniences is that, let them take a nationwide survey for all district hospitals with non-functioning basic facilities like x-rays, schools without desks just to mention a few.
SHAME on mediocrity!!!

Our coffers has a meagre K1,545 million for the next 12 months and all you can come up with is an initiative to employ 10,000 youths in a deforestation programme. How about funding youth entrepreneurism and incubation programs supported by well funded coaching and mentoring initiatives. Malawi has to spend its limited resources on projects that create employment and not just government employing more people bloating the civil service wage bill. We need to think creatively in how limited funds are spent please. Are we that dull

You can write your brilliant advice here but they won’t listen to you. They use their assholes for ears. When the time for such brilliant ideas comes you shall see, your children will also see that the environment is conducive. DPP does not reward hardworking, professional civil service. They frustrate it. Instead they reward crooks, fraudsters, tricksters, the corrupt with a strong Lomwe blood and… Read more »
