Kamuzu Stadium rehabilitation like the construction of the new Njambi Stadium, has been in the news for years with no tangible progress to date. Looting has gotten to a point where an entire budget allocation disappears into the thin air with no trace. Politicians are now dying of lifestyle diseases due to overeating (have too much money) whilst many millions are going to sleep hungry or reduced to eating grasshoppers for dinner.

As a matter of fact the best should have been to demolish Kamuzu stadium and put up a new structure other than bringing noise to Mjamba, which is residential area. Blantyre does not necessarily need two stadia.
