The current Minister is to blame because he is very egotistic and does not value technocrats. He is preoccupied with operations in the Ministry as opposed to policies. A look at security policies one notices that there are none to address security of lives in the wards. Its time Mr Minister you started leaving responsibilities of operations to your technicians rather than being a big preacher in yourself telling health workers how to do their jobs simply because you have a vague PhD that can not be applied anywhere in Malawi.

Policies are the responsibility of a Minister…
