Nigeria tips Malawi on education policies
The Director of Research forNational Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Professor Habu Galadima has said Malawi and Nigeria can strengthen education system through improved policies.
Speaking in an interview with Malawi News Agency (Mana), Galadima said the two countries can together find areas that need to be assisted, built on to improve education.
“Malawi and Nigeria need to fill those critical gaps that need attention to be tackled in order to improve education starting from primary to tertiary levels” he said.
Galadima added that the objective of the tour is to help experts draw new education structures and policy makers in both countries in understanding of the educational system.
He also said that the tour in Malawi will help the two countries have a good working relationship and that will not only initiate education in Nigeria but also in Africa.
According to Galadima, there are a number of education delegates that are visiting countries such as Zambia, South Africa among others that they are the sixth group visiting Southern Africa. These members of NIPSS will be in the country for 10 days.
