All what is being said is not correct, the truth is that Ntaba was rejected by the British because of his association with meetings that led to expelling of the B. envoy. APM (Apa Pailbe Mlamuli) knows this ??????????????

Malawians do luck analytical skills or common sense, how can u praise Ntaba for turning down the appointment anyway the man could have done so soon he received the news of his appointment but to go for interviews then withdraw I don’t think this is adding up. The reality of the matter is that the Brits will not accept him due to his foul mouthing on the out gone ambassador from the uk remember these were the master minds of the ambassador’s deportation and he was the government spokesman by then if not the Dpp’s and at several times he defended… Read more »

APM is clever afterall. He devises a plan. Firstly he nominates Ntaba as high commissioner to London kowing very Her Majesty’s Govt. will reject him. Secondly, before Ntaba takes up his position APM replaces him in DPP NEC. End result: Ntaba is left in the cold, with no influence whatsoever.

Listen Rift even Ntaba did not land a big Gvt position he is an accomplished suregon and he will make it very well as such! Dont you worry Ntaba is one of those professionals who is in the comfortable position where if he turns left he can make it work as well as if he turns right! I even wonder sometimes why he bothers with politics. Tricks like what you are describing would not help APM they would only weaken him because Ntab has contribnuted a lot to DPP over the years! Dont always think people are devious! No some… Read more »

Iwe, Ntaba wagwa nayo basi. It’s not about the money. Some of us earn more money than Malawis cabinet ministers and ambassadors. But these top government positions come with recognition, power and prestige, which Ntaba will miss. Yes, he can go to Ryalls and buy his own beer, but it’s not the same as being invited to functions at Buckingham Palace or 10 Downing Street for a glass of wine with the Queen and the British PM. Yes he can have a range rover but driving it in the smooth country side highways of green and beautiful England is not… Read more »
