This is an excellent appraisal of the situation in Malawi. ‘By their fruits you will know them’, is what the Bible says. This is very true. The President’s fruits are: corruption, nepotism, tribalism, rising inflation, a currency nose-diving in value against the dollar, electricity blackouts, shortage of medicines, rising prices, unemployment, falling educational standards, and a total failure/refusal to admit to or recognise all the above.
