Yes! stealing is not illegal Mr Ntata.
Rather stealing is a political right synonymous to birthright if one belongs to a ‘ruling party’ in Malawi. But fortunately, these thieves are not as smart as they think they are. A compromised judgement does not make one SMART.
Look, how on earth can a hurriedly signed official document without a letterhead be an authentic evidence in court? Both the signatory and defendant obviously belong to JAIL. They leave a trail of traceable, convictable evidence behind!
Shame on THIEVES!!!

I remember to have driven in the dark streets outside Kampala and I saw rows and rows of unsecured and unguarded wares along the road with no one stealing any of the goods. I was told that it wasn’t the culture of local Ugandans to steal unprotected wares. I am not sure whether its the same today as that was 15 years ago. The point I am making is that stealing and corruption is to do with people’s individual ethics and integrity. Even magistrates in Malawi do endorse stealing where common sense tells everybody, yes even those who have not gone to a Law School, that someone stole. Yes magistrates endorse stealing even when a report from a commission chaired by a former Chief Justice clearly articulate injustices.
