Of course with the now exposed K4 billion tax-payers money to reward crooked DPP MPs (and associates) then later political shenanigansism to silence equally corruptible opposition MPs, we have NO REASON to WONDER why the once VIBRANT and FEARLESS civil society groups, political activists, PAC are muted, dead& buried. But what we can perhaps wonder or do no know is HOW MUCH of our tax-payers money is being used for such a reckless and selfish endeavours? Peter Mutharika is surely irrelevant to any drive and desire to fight corruption in this country . Apparently he is perhaps our biggest problem if the truth is to be told. Malawi faces one major problem to dealing with corruption decisively and that problem is Peter Mutharika. Malawi is by any measure better off without him. Take it or leave it.
