Some few years ago one man, a highly respected judge of course, said if every Malawi would contribute K1.00, we could raise millions. Seriously, none would exactly give K1.00, the least would be probably K500.00 whilst us soccer lovers would cough in thousands. So, FAM thinks withdrawing is a solution, ok BUT I have a solution for FAM: You all RESIGN, period. You have proved to be failures!!

Walter and his friends should really resign. There is no football development in Malawi just because some football administrors are too greedy.
You want government funding for what?? Come up with plans which can be sustainable.
Osamangoba ndalama zama gate.Ndalama zaku Fifa zimapita kuti??

Mr. Chiumia, I do agree with in many articles you post, but on this one i choose to differ, why? National team is a gvt entity same as other institutions. It sorely gets funding from trrasurly for its operations. In such case every body expects good things from the team.In the past, fam has been engaging coperate world to assist the flames financially, i hope you are aware of this. Despite that only very few individuals assisted. Bushili assisted sometimes and you know what happened. Treasury last year gave fam a litle than what was proposed. Officials at fam are… Read more »

O……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………O With you Thom, any sane person cant agree more! . . . Nanga, if the whole FAM president fails to come up with ideas of raising funds, cant they see that their brains have run out of sap? . . . You see, Nyamilandu may have been good (in his heydays, if at all there were such days), but who doesn’t know that even the best song/joke becomes boring if heard for long? . . . Yes, Walter lied right in our faces that the “Harvest Time” meant getting fruits from foundations they had laid in 12 years (whatever… Read more »

I feel so sad for our boys they do have such talents and skills when it comes to football, but they have greedy masters and vultures as officials . They say no funds for the football team to participate in international games but they have money for Walter and his clue to spend. pulling out of Afcon will not help anyone, find ways of generating funds that’s why you are there Walter

FAM is funded by government right? So why are you attacking FAM officials? Where do you think they can get the funding? If money is not available, you want them to get from their pockets? Not fair, put urselves in their shoes.

Wakumva amve ndithu! This is very timely. FAM has failed miserably as indicated by their intention to cancel FLAMES participation in international competition. It takes a MAN to resign. Those that resign for failure deserve great respect.
