Nyasa BB players offered K100 000 each to win FISD Cup semis against Moyale
Nyasa Big Bullets excutive committee has promised to give each player K100 000 game bonus if they beat Moyale Barracks in the K50 million FISD Challenge Cup do or die semi-final match slated for Sunday, November 19 2017 at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.
Bullets General Secretary Albert Chigoga revealed this to Nyasa Times that they have hiked the game bonuses from K75 000 to K100 000 especially in FISD Cup inorder to give special motivation to the players and bring competitiveness in the team as well as keeping the winning spirit alive.
The people’s team booked their semi-final seat in the FISD Cup after beating Lilongwe giants Blue Eagles 8-7 through post match penalties following a goaless draw in the regulation time in a match which was played at Civo Stadium a week ago.
In the other hand Moyale Barracks reached the semi-final phase after a convincing 8-1 win over a non-league side Umodzi FC at Kalulu Stadium on Thursday last week.
The last time both teams met in a crucial match was in 2016 in the Presidential Cup finals at Civo Stadium where Bullets won through penalties after regulation time produced a one-all-draw.
Chigoga said he is very much confident that with the bonus increase his boys will fight like a hungry lion as they always do so that they can reach into the finals and clinch the FISD Cup championship.
“I can confirm that we’ve been hiking the bonuses starting from the first game where we gave every player K50 000 and in the quarter finals we increased to K75 000 and we always pay the players this
money on the spot. So I’m also proud to announce that our official sponsors Nyasa Manufacturing Company (NMC) have promised that they will give every player K100 000 if they knockout Moyale Barracks,” said Chigoga.
Chigoga challenged that there is no team in the country whose players receive their money in time with good salaries and game bonusess than Bullets.
“Our sponsors appreciate the good work and spirit which our players show when they are in the pitch as such they don’t disappoint them and it is that love which is making the team to produce good results,”
added Chigoga.
Bullets players recently received K100 000 each after beating their old rivals Be Forward Wanderers in the Carlsberg Cup finals at Bingu National Stadium (BNS).
