Nyasa Bullets budget’s K100mil not enough: From rags to riches
Nyasa Bullets FC have disclosed that the K100million annual sponsorship is not enough to meet the team’s budget.
In a mark of rags to riches, Bullets have decided to go by marginal propensity to consume rather the marginal propensity to save theory by declaring that the K100 million falls short of their annual budget estimated at K150 million.
Bullets General Secretary Kelvin Moyo said about 75% of the K100 million would be spent on signing on fees and players welfare.
Moyo said such being the case the team would embark on a fundraising drive to meet the shortfall.
He said apart from the sponsorship from the club would also be required to contribute.
“We are going to embark on a marketing drive to ensure that we should also do our part towards the sponsorship.
“Sponsors have set the standards that our players should be well remunerated because this would motivate them to work hard,” he said.
Bullets have already signed Muhammad Sulumba who was on loan at their bitter rivals Mighty Be Forward Wanderers from Blantyre United.
They have also offered pre-contract deals Civo United defenders John Lanjesi and Emmanuel Zoya.
