I have a question to the writer and comenters; Do you have an idea of the billions these banks invest in oder to earn the billion profits?. You potray a very wrong picture by emphasising on the profit without a mention on the billions invested. Show the profit as a percentage of what was invested. If NBM makes a 12bill profit after investing 110bill, is that too much?? Thats 11% profit!!!!!. Actually, more bussinesses steal from their customers as compared to banks. Do you get the logic??????

Are these two phenomena linked? Do the rich need the poor to become poorer in order to remain rich?
(I have not noticed tobacco-buyers suffering any of the hardships the Malawian growers are experiencing, either)

The writer of this article should not pretend to be the most clever and intelligent person because he was part and parcel of the crooks who stole money from government coffers and played a part in making the western world to cease providing the much needed financial assistance by posting negative government finances outlook. This is what we say kuzungulira mutu after noticing that MAI won’t be coming back home very soon. By the way how do you expect a bumper tobacco produce with all the torrential rainfall the country experienced? I am sure all the noise he is making… Read more »
