Benedicto Mbewe, you are the one who is an Argent of devil. If you can’t see the reason why people should demand some things from government then you have a big problem with your reasoning capacity.

Mr Kent, you have just wasted time and energy writing this nonsense. I thought you would first ask your Phiri what will be the reason for the next demos? It was said that the bill was for all Malawians not only for Chakwera or Livingstonia Synod. That is true, this is why when tabled MPs from all parties participated, debated freely and later shot it down. Is it the DPP which shot it down? It is an individual MP who did the shooting. The govt on the request by PAC tabled the bill and stopped there. It was now the turn… Read more »

PAC don’t mind those who accuse you. They are not for Malawi but for a mere tribal party.

Since these government MPs have decided to dupe us by pretending to debate the bills we will also resort to demonstrating till something gotta give. In the middle of the chaos there will be order of some kind. We the People have resolved that we want those bills passed. No caucuses against any of the bills. Keep your fucking chief whips away from these bills. You can no longer be trusted.

COUNTRYMEN, it is sad that in their wisdom the DPP-led government still thinks that they can play games on these important bills forever. The truth of the matter is that government is about working for the governed. If a government loses the trust of the governed no matter how clever they may play their politics the truth will still catch up with them some day. We say what transpired in October, 2017, By-Elections when DPP lost 5-1 to MCP. Listening to the arguments that the DPP-led government used is discrediting the tabling and passing of the electoral reforms bills one… Read more »

You are everything but confused sir. The moment we try to make other races as victims in Malawi some of us from those races that are deemed as enjoying the fruits when we are now will also be angry. In my view, you are a race baiter sir. Lilongwe has its share of the productive sector concentrated here, including NGOs, government agencies etc. We will not go anywhere as a nation of people who are leading critical organisations think the way you are thinking sir. Let’s build rather than being part of ensuring that Malawi has a race war. We… Read more »

Just tell us the date. We’re more than ready. Ifenso red odzavala tsikulo tikusungila.
Honestly u did well to call off the demos, this gave Govt alot of rope, now the DPP Govt can safely hang themselves up. No matter how long darkness may be, morning shall surely come

I agree entirely with you Achi. It is good the demos were called off otherwise we would have wasted the energy on a decoy. Govt tried to sell us a dummy by pretending to table the hills when they knew they would reject them. They thought they had the last laugh but they didn’t. Now we know what their true colour is and we will demonstrate against the substantive issue of misrule. That way the demos will carry the tone of ‘we don’t want you in 2019’ rather than the small matter of tabling electoral laws.

So what will happen after your demos? Anzanu a DPP ali busy campaigning while the mother that is carrying this prodigal reverend are busy planning to be walking on roads. I now agree that the opposition in Malawi and whoever is behind it are cursed.
