The Malawian government should see this as an opportunity to take back the mine. Operate it the way you wish when the uranium market price recover in the future. (A former Paladdin’s shareholder)

It is therefore true that you are DEAD SOULS.If Kayerekela Mine that needs less complex technology than oil exploration,fails to produce its strategic needs how would the oil rigging from Lake Nyasa,be an easy task? Imagine the Minister of Finance not know of Paladin being in administration, that would imply that the Cabinet has not discusses this matter. So what do they do in Cabinet? Share whiskey with APM? Can you imagine a Minister under Kamuzu not knowing?

Kayelekera was closed in February 2014, this is why the minister is saying “they cannot operate until the foreseeable future” because the plan was to re-start when ESCOM connected electricity to the mine as also said by Dassu.
