Clearly some Sharia advocates have systematically been infiltrating the security services, government offices such as lands, local government etc.. The plan is to influence actions such as that taken by the police and to give priviledge to fellow advocates who share friday prayers over those who pray on saturday and sunday.

Countrymen, we are feeding a Trojan horse.

You must be a believer in democratic norms. Free speech cannot be limited to anyone because he is criticising religion. Free speech is good for anyone, this is why we are able to write these comments here. He should be allowed to criticise Islam, Christian in anyway he wants. He is not calling for people to demolish mosques or churches. He has not called for people to stone Christians or Moslems.

Not very sure if we have a blaspheming Act in the laws of Malawi. We could be fast sliding to become one of the eastern countries which have such laws. Blasphemous laws may only apply to certain section of the citizenry and the best to do is to know that democracy talks of the majority ruling while taking into considerations interest of the minority. Do you know what blasphemy means? There’s no blasphemy in the song. If he has been picked on blasphemy, which is not even an offence in our statutes, then he will be acquited. But what about those Muslims inviting war and treason?

But what about those Muslims inciting hatred and war on Christians? And even uttering obscene words about the head of state, and also uttering treasonous statements?

Kadadzera let the boys go. You go arrest those DPP cadets that manhandled Kaliati at Parliament. I will give you $1000 if you do that. Arresting a composer and a studio engineer, you are killing talent. This is a frivolous case. If I had the money I would defend you boys.
