This is all very well and laudable, but what about all that confiscated ivory that was supposed to have been publicly destroyed several years ago? The decision to carry out the destruction was postponed for some reason but we were never told what happened to the ivory. Was it sold/given to the Chinese in order to elicit development grants from them? We need to know if that ivory is still being held, and if not, what happened to it.
