Anthu ena mumaoneka ngati anzeru chifukwa choti mukulemba muchizungu but in actual sense ndinu mbutuma, sukulu sinakupindulireni. These people were affected by natural disasters and ofcoz the government tried its part to intervene through the Vice President. If you say political leaders have reduced people to beggars can you justify? Were the floods brought by politicians?

Next time, assist people who fail to reconstruct their houses or those who can, to start small businesses. These handouts are only good for a while and for your own publicity.

Political leaders and more especially the president should watch this (Bushiri distributing food to what I would describe as beggars). This is what you have reduced your own ordinary people to, beggars……a group of hungry families willing to queue for a bag of maize from Bushiri. How do you really sleep at night. This is an indictment on our political leaders. Any political leader or leader at all, who goes to some poorly constructed podium, shouting on top of his voice, saying that Malawi is in good space since independence or since DPP, UDF or PP took over, should just… Read more »

Bambo Chifundo, the sick are dying in hospitals due lack of drugs; 40% of the youth remain unemployed; people dying of hunger. All these are not natural disasters. As a survival instinct, people have resorted to begging to survive. They need money to buy drugs and to buy food but unfortunately they are unemployed. If you don’t understand the link Chifundo, there’s nothing I can do to make you see the light. I don’t know what’s blidning to see the reality, for what it is. Mukuimbira mfiti m’manja. Ana akufa mzipatalamu, because makolo alibe ndalama zogulira mankhwala olo zogulira zakudya.… Read more »

Thanks a million to you Bushiri, Malawi needs people and leaders who can feel the pain and suffering of other human beings especially the poor. Change is actually what you can feel on your skin or in your stomach not just empty-sweet-nothings from politicians. How could someone claim to develop the country beyond recognition when a single natural disaster wrecks the lives of innocent people like that? Go to developed countries and see how many disasters knocks them every year but people don’t suffer like the way Malawians do.
