Prophet Bushiri rounds up vacation with message to the world: ‘Lake Malawi world’s best holiday destination’
South Africa-based Malawian famous rich prophet Shepherd Bushiri has described his home’s country’s Lake Malawi as world’s best, friendliest and soothing tourist destination.
He has since called on the world to make sure Lake Malawi is part of their “must-see” destinations if they are to experience the best of what God has given to mankind.
The leader of the Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) made the comment on Saturday after winding up his four day vacation at Sunbird Livingstonia Hotel in the lakeshore district of Salima.
The ECG founder—who is also the president of an investing company Shepherd Bushiri Investments (SBI)—said it was refreshing to spend some time out of his busy schedule so that he interacts with the warmth of the people and the soothing nature that defines Malawi.
During the four day stint, the Prophet, who came with his church choir and the band, started off with a day at the prestigious 5-star Bingu International Hotel in the capital Lilongwe as part of appreciating strides in hospitality sectors taking root in Malawi.
From Lilongwe, the Prophet, who also owns hotels in South Africa, trekked to the lakeshore district of Salima, at Livingstonia beach, where he played beach soccer, volleyball, took a boat drive, sang on stage, played drums and interacted with workers at the beach.
“God has blessed me and I am capable of going to any destination in the world. But I came to Malawi to make a statement to fellow Malawians living abroad and also everybody out there to come and appreciate the beauty that is Malawi,” he said.
He added that Malawi has friendliest people who always feels you at home with their sense of smile and courtesy.
The ‘Major One’ further said that the beauty of the lake itself—its sparkling blue and sprawling waves—is breathtaking and it makes the experience memorable and worth taking.
Bushilri, you are very right on Lake Nyasa/Lake Malawi but mind you,as soon as oil drilling on the lake starts, that would hamper all activities in the lake because the water will be contaminated beyond recognition and this will tragically stop or discourage potential tourists. There are countries in the world that rely on tourist industry for its foreign exchange for instance the Island of Mauritius which posts millions of dollars in economic surpluses every year. With its magnificent national parks if the government takes good care of them such as Nyika National Park, could profoundly enhance badly needed foreign currency.Mind you,the Nyika National Park… Read more »

Great Major 1 for fulfilling Mark 6:31-33, “Jesus said to them, `Come away with me. Let us go alone to a quiet place and rest for a while.’ Many people were coming and going. They could not even eat. So they went away in a boat to a lonely place by themselves.” Let Tanzania get the clear message that we in Malawi have you Major Prophet of God, watching over your home lake day and night. So Papa, we Malawians RECEIVE our Miracle of full sovereignty over Lake Malawi.
Mark 6:31-33Worldwide English (New Testament) (WE)
“Jesus said to them, `Come away with me. Let us go alone to a quiet place and rest for a while.’ Many people were coming and going. They could not even eat. So they went away in a boat to a lonely place by themselves.”
We should do the things that when Jesus is coming soon we have to be with the Lord into heaven.
We need people like Bushiri in Malawi. Not these others who are full of envy.
If we can only have 100 of Bushiri’s in Malawi, Malawi can be good place to live even for disadvantaged peole. May God bless you Major 1.
