Much of Malawi, particularly around our cities, has suffered so badly from deforestation. It’s good to see some of our citizens giving their time, energy, money to remedy this problem. Every tree counts – congratulations, Lilongwe Rotary!

Why not employing some of the thousands jobless youths to take care of these trees. You see the country is losing thousands and thousands of trees everyday due to charcoal burning and curing tobacco in tobacco estates therefore, we need to jealously guard these planted trees. The community, youths, country can all benefit if we can employ young pple to take care of planted trees while getting afew kwachas @ the end of month
