very very laughable indeed. Now I do understand why lots of people have said in the past that as long as we have the Nyamilandus at FAM football will never improve in this country The gentleman has never coached in Africa and has never coached a national team and somebody has the audacity to tell Malawians that all that is immaterial. .Some few months ago, some naughty Malawian told this nation (Malawi) that our Peter Muthalika was sleep walking while discharging his presidential duties, I think all of us Malawians are sleep walking.

A struggling team like The Flames need a coach who is experienced in African politics of football. An African expatriate from let’s say Zimbabwe, SA, or Nigerian would have been an excellent choice if an experienced white coach was beyond our means. Recruiting raw talent is a non-starter. How did they identify him? When did interviews take place? After a string of losses we will hear that he is only a volunteer as we have heard before. Shame.

As long as this policy pervades our thinking and practice, the country in its myriad of activities is heading nowhere

Nyamilandu should’ve gone long ago. He is way passed his overdue date. he has contributed nothing to the success of football in Malawi. under his leadership the standard and performance of the team continues to drop at an alarming rate. its so surprising how someone can underperform the way he does and still clings on to his Job. He is now on his last serving term yes… Read more »
