It is not astonishing that Salim Bagus has rejoined DPP.This has become a routine for Malawian politicians since the restoration of multiparty democracy.This reminds me of the 1964 crisis when some of few MCP members switched to the rebel Ministers and within a day returned to the MCP government.These included late John Msonthi,G.Kumtumanje,Albert Muwalo and Gwanda Chakuamba,but unfortunately,all four of them met inhuman treatment,Kumtumanje got his eyes poked out in prison,Chakuamba landed in prison for 11years but tragically Msonthi died a highly suspected demise.This is attributed to unprincipled political decisions and backed up by shameless and naked opportunism that finally… Read more »
