Salima hospital gets theatre equipment from Airtel Malawi
Airtel Malawi on Wednesday donated various equipment at Salima District Hospital wealth K2.5 million.
Speaking during the ceremony, Airtel Zonal business Manager, Misheck Kabinda said the company decided to donate theatre equipment as part of company’s social responsibility.
Receiving the donation, Salima District Health Officer Dr Michael Kayange commended Airtel for the donation saying it will go a long way in improving services at the hospital.
Some of the donated items were heavy duty air conditioning equipment, switchers, theatre boots, and theatre gowns.
