Dr Goodall Gondwe, didn’t you say you had K4billion you didn’t know what to do with? How come there is such a structure that looks poorly built and caused death of innocent ‘babies’ (may their beautiful souls rest in peace)? These are consequences of corruption. It needs to be preached kwa anthu akumudzi ngati amene afeledwawa kuti zotsatira za anthu andale akamaba ndalama ndizimenezi!!

Commiserations to those who lost children and whose were injured. This has happened in the UK becuase of inadequate inspection of construction. In this case, the unsupported, apart from by the roof, gable wall appears to have been a poor design.

We need a national School construction program where every TA should identify schools which are in dire state and where immediate help is needed. This sad. You give money to teachers and expect them to supervise construction? Bwana Chilima and bwana Mutharika mwatani?

Very sad. May the souls of the departed children rest in peace and wishing quick recovery to the injured ones.
This is a wake up call to the MINISTRY of Educations to inspect all makeshift school structures in rural areas and take necessary actions to avoid repeat of this tragedy elsewhere.
