Silver Strikers sign two players from Wizard: Bright Munthali and Levison Maganizo
Silver Strikers have become the second team to invade Fisd Wizards camp following their completion in signing midfielder Levison Maganizo and goalkeeper Bright Munthali.
The bankers treasure Fred Kalonga confirmed the news on Saturday afternoon after fruitful discussions with Fisd owner Peter Mponda.
“We can now confirm that Silver Strikers have signed Brighton and Levison from Fisd at undisclosed fee. We are so delighted and to our fans they should expect more new names in area 47,” said Kalonga, who came to Blantyre on Friday.
He also disclosed that they are in talks with Polokwane City striker Esau Kanyenda and Dedza Young Soccer cool calm defender Chisomo Mpachika.
“We are also in talks with the top goal scorer of Chipiku Central Region League. This season we are very serious because we want to take cups to area 47,” said Kalonga.
Fisd owner Peter Mponda confirmed with Nyasa Times that they have cleared the duo to Silver but was mum on the transfer fee.
“Indeed we have let the two players to join Silver Strikers. As l told the nation that Fisd will not block any move to any of our players who will be seeking for greener pasture,” said the former Flames captain.
Mighty Be forward Wanderers was the first team in 2016 to sing players from Fisd.
