The replay match between Mighty Wanderers against Silver Strikers, which was supposed to take place on Sunday at the Zomba Community Centre Ground has been postponed.

Super League of Malawi (Sulom) Disciplinary Committee banned Silver and Wanderers for eight and five months respectively from all football activities. But both clubs appealed.

In the appeal determination which was released on Tuesday, Sulom has reduced the punishments with Wanderers to forfeit four games points while Silver Strikers will forfeit six games points.

However, both clubs were still not convinced with the appeal verdict that they have lodged another appeal to the mother body which is Football Association of Malawi.

This development has resulted in FAM cancelling Sunday’s encounter emphasizing they want to scrutinize the appeal, according to FAM general Secretary Sugzo Nyirenda.
