The equation is if Itaye is in this corruption and is allowed to continue working despite all these revelation, then the person who appointed this Itaye guy is also in the same practice. Otherwise one who appointed the Itaye guy would not allow himself to be embarrassed by someone whom he entrusted the position Itaye guy has, unless it is his boy and is just using him for such purpose of self enrichment. When Itaye was swapped with Kumbatira at MACRA , I wrote to indicate that this was a well calculated move to provide room for state resources plunder. Here we are! Malawians now you know the type of government we are taming!

It is systematic and well-organised. DPP TOP BRASS appointees in key influential positions, strategically placed to coordinate LOOTING & DEVOURING.
Nepotism is the criteria used in all these appointments. Forget about qualifications or proven track record of competence, salvation to MULHAKHO first then to their cronies and sympathisers (Jappie, Dausi).

These crimes have gone unpunished for a long long time with no justice in sight. Stealing and looting is now part of Malawi executive’s genetic code taking the lead from their political masters. If only they could use these skills to attract foreign investment to usher a revamped Malawi. We have ACB which is toothless, investigators who are 3rd rate with no skills to speak of; we have prosecutors who don’t even know what they’re doing except to solicit cash from those who have committed crime.
