This Access to information bill is becoming a big joke. Soon or later it will come back to haunt the president and his government and it will come in big way. Just last year or earlier this year or thereabout government wanted to stamp its authority on NGOs by demanding information on their financing and their financial management activities and government hit a wall. Why. The answer is very clear there is no law to oblige NGOs to comply to that. Govt is shooting itself in the foot by playing pingpong with this bill.
