Super League golden boot race hots up: Bokosi, Harawa tie at 10 goals.

TNM Super League golden boot chase has reached the climax after Silver Strikers striker forward Green Harawa netted a goal in his side’s 2-1 win over Dedza Young soccer on Sunday at the Silver Stadium.

Harawa’s tally of goals has now reached 10 to tie alongside Red Lions striker Innocent Bokosi who has been leading since midway in the first round of the league.

Bullets in form striker Chiukepo Msowoya come second with nine goals ahead of Nelson Kangunje of Civo and Blue Eagles striker Schumacher Kuwali.

Kuwali made headlines over the weekend when he banged in four goals in a single match.

Bright Munthali of Azam Tigers and Jafali Chande of Big Bullets have so far scored seven goals each while Kumbukani Mwambene of Red Lions, Chisomo Gillion of Dedza Young Soccer, John Junior Malidadi and Harvey Nkacha have six goals each.

Richard Mbulu of Mafco, Paul Phiri, Mohammed Sulumba, Mapopa Kaunda and Peter Wadabwa have four goals to their credit.

So far, 290 goals have been scored.

Three red cards have been flashed in the second week of the second round and went to Mapopa Kaunda, Richard Mbulu and Cliford Fukizi.

Kamuzu Barracks have the best defense so far having let in only 12 goals since the league startes while Dedza have the most porus defense having let in 32 goals.

Airborne, Fisd Wizard and Dedza Young Soccer are yet to register a win away while Mighty Be Forward Wanderers and defending champions Big Bullets are yet to lose away.

I have been telling you all along that Bright Munthali is the dangerman for Tigers koma simumva. You highlight other players in Tigers and never mention him.
