IMF has to understand Malawi si not yet ready for Free floating, Malawi needs a fixed kwacha and it should be devalued once every 6 months if there is need. IMF policies are for countries which are already export developed, and Malawis is in its infancy in export and with the liberalisation of the currency there is very little that can be done to bring down inflation.
