When an opposition person advises a ruling party person it is not for the benefit of the ruling party person or the citizenry but for the opposition. Mr Nhlane, you should not blame a scorpion for being a scorpion. I expect you know the fable of the scorpion and the frog: A scorpion asks a frog to carry it across a river. The frog hesitates, afraid of being stung, but the scorpion argues that if it did so, they would both drown. After considering this, the frog agrees, but midway across the river the scorpion does indeed sting the frog, dooming them both.
