Is there any improvement in unbundling Escom. I agree with Steve Shara that we should stop this process since it will not solve the problem of low intake into the university. The problem is that everyry jim and jack would like to become principal officer of the university. We need to analyse the cost which would be used to pay this officers and other benefits ie poshy cars free electricity, water dstv ,fuel etc if this money could be channeled to building more classroom and labs at Bunda , chanco and buy teaching and learning materials i feel the intake… Read more »

My take is that, our one and only first university did not grow because we were impressed by the presence of the university rather than the purpose. We forgot that population increase by the youth and the youth will need education and they will be in large numbers. Despite NSO producing censors indicators every ten years, it meant nothing. I have a big problem with doubting the success of unbundling UNIMA without understanding the challenges being experienced. We are just useless!!!! Alot of land around Chanco!!!! Let us construct more ans stop this nonsese of selection!!!
I never got selected back home but now I have all academics!!!!
