TNM hosts family day for employees and their families
As one way encouraging interaction between and among employees and their families, premier mobile service provider TNM has hosted employees to a Family Day across the three regions.
Speaking during a family day for Blantyre region held at Limbe Country Club, Head of Human Resources Mpezenji Gonani said family day concept is designed to help create a balance between work and family by creating a large common platform on which the two sides engage with each other.
“As such families of TNM employees will come together at one designated venue in all the major regions of the country and participate in various activities. The highlights of the day are outdoor sports and fun games for both adults and children. There will also be food to share. This concept also aims to harness a culture of healthy living amongst our employees and families,” he said.
He said family day is for the entire organization and is conducted according to regions and the event always starts with Nature walk followed by a health week and ends with family day event.
“We are a family of TNM as such annually we want to sit together and have fun with our families who also indirectly play the important role in our day to operations” he said.
He encouraged employees and their families to continue working hard in promoting the TNM brand.
In Blantyre Region, Head Office and Lilongwe Region it started on 28th September 2014 with Nature walks and ends on 4thOctober 2014 with fun for all staff and their families.
The event is comprised of activities which encourages participation and interaction.
This year Family Day theme is ‘Healthy Life: Happy Life.
