Competition is good for the ordinary man in the street. Maybe and only maybe DPP will wake up from its slumber and begin to listen to the masses and deliver on their promises. There is certainly a new sheriff in town.

Research has revealed that UTM is receiving funds from DPP and the bottom line of the matter is that UTM campaign will concentrate much in the central & northern regions in order to disperse votes from these regions where DPP has lost a lot of support. What these guys want is to see DPP wining the elections with a small percentage from the south & if this is achieved those guys will be welcomed back to DPP and given ministerial positions. UTM provides the much needed political entertainment towards the election campaign. Obviously, winning the election on their part is a far-fetched dream, but they will have provided the eventual winners (obviously DPP) a run for their money. Statistically UTM will undermine MCP the ability to be a stiff competition against the DPP. From the look of things the UTM will eventually replace MCP as the main opposition party.
