As a matter of correction. Ever since, the chieftainship belonged to Isake family and not Richard Mitala. Every village headman in TA knows and agrees to this history. The earliest chiefs ie Kambakula and Mpenuka all belonged to Isake and not Richard Mitala. The high court had erred because it disregarded this history. Gawa Undi and other chewa chiefs recognize Isake family while (PP) Government installed Mitala. This is the cause of confusion. Richard Mitala was appointed after Kambakula and Mpenuka by a colonial DC who wanted a literate person to represent the chief. Richard was literate but not related… Read more »
