Sorry for the mistake of the year. The year I visited visited Karibu was 2008 and am sure of what I saw. For the sake of privacy I cannot mention the names of the members of staffs that I went with in visiting the hostel areas of boys, but am sure of what am saying because I was told by very members of staffs about the identity of their students.
I respect Lucius but about school he should not deceive the nation. I remember in 2010 when I was visiting a teacher friend of mine in Blantyre at Karibu Academy, Johnny his son was learning right there. There were some other sons and daughters of prominent politicians, business men and govt officials at Karibu that time. So Lucius should not seek cheap sympathy from the public. If you go in the database of Karibu Academy for 2010 surely Lucius’s son is gonna appear.

Lucius should know that he already booted himself from the party after walking alone from his fellow UDF members. Why were you removed as UDF whip or is it Leader of UDF in the House? Firstly its questionable and strategically a mistake for any political party worth its salt to hold its elective conference close to the general elections. There’s just little time to campaign on the back of signed off party resolutions and policies. Holding elective conference close to general election is in itself a sign that the party is unable to govern itself and therefore is too dysfunctional to lead a country effectively. And so is DPP in complete tatters, no date yet for the convention has been fixed. At least UDF has fixed a date. AFORD too has done so. MCP should have by now held a convention were it not for the external hand of DPP & APM influencing the judiciary to hold on to the judgement to vacate the inherent injunction. Justice delayed is justice denied. Surely you will not fool all the people all the time!!!!!!
Lucius Banda, please be serious, you mean you are not sending your kids to good schools because you want to win presidency? This is their future you are playing with and it is nothing to do with politics. Come up with another strategy but this one, I can assure you will not work.
