If the UK has to spend £80m every year in Malawi on education etc, and Malawi remains as poor as ever, maybe the money is being wasted and some RE-THINKING needs to be done. The President has recently declared that “Malawians have reached high levels of hatefulness on all levels”. Does he include himself?
Instead of celebrating about the aid, people are hurting knowing the funds are going straight into DPP’s pockets. Pitala, Goodall, Chaponda, Dausi, Ben Phiri, Joyce Banda, Mphwiyo, at the top of Operation Bwezani list.

The British are not stupid. They know exactly what goes on within the government of Malawi and will ensure than any aid is not funnelled through the government or its agencies but through its own Department for International Aid.
This is very good news for Malawi, but the sad thing is the money will be diverted into the DPP party or Peters account !!!! l hurt DPP party and government when l think of the children who died because of a school blocks collapsed on them and died yet we have a government…….. You should be ashamed of yourself. ……… wicked people. ……….
Aide is not about development. Its about keeping the postcolonial state and its thieves in place.
In as long as the funds don’t go through Account Number One otherwise it will go into DPP pockets or political party of the day. Malawians have perfected the art of looting. They are now capable of stealing from beggars. It’s a shame really. Malawi is rotten to the core especially politicians
I urge all Northerners to fight fiercely against the tribalistic government of the Interhangwe Mulhako wa Alomwe led by Hitler Peter Mutharika. The Northerners must write endless emails to the British government to stop supporting Malawi in its ethnic cleansing of the Northerners in terms of education.
