If you abolish death penalty Malawi will be like South Africa where criminals kill with impunity bcoz they know there is no death penalty. In countries, where there is death penalty criminals fear of dying.

The same UN should be highlighting the dangers such policies bring to human rights of those citizens having to live in areas where these rehabilitated people will be living. I am certain that government will never disclose to citizens that their new neighbours are ex-murderers. People have a right to know and government has a civic duty to disclose all such information.

Good move, but I would not support abolition of death penalty.
