This is strategic positioning. The Chinese have built an embassy in the same place where US is coming. The Chinese embassy is at a very prominent place on the road to state house. The american embassy is in a hidden place near the wild life sanctuary. The US want also to be on the road to state house as the Chinese position gives to the Malawi public a perception that China is more powerful than US and all embassies.
When completed the USA should give the old embassy to Israel,we would love to have a Jewish embassy in Malawi.Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
