He is more popular in entertainment circles than anywhere else particularly urbanites able to watch him on TV than the villagers in Mulanje central. Just visit Mulanje central and see what Nankhumwa has done to the constituency, remarkable developments like tarmac roads, piped water supply, bicycles for leaders and the poor that no other MP has ever accomplished in the history of Malawi.
