Nyasa, the write up is too scanty for a man of Bernard Kwilimbe’s rich history. Here is a man who contributed so much to music and culture in Malawi, and you come up with just a few lines? No. You could look at his background, education, his works and the way he related with people. Kwilimbe had immerse sense of humour! Please do your esteemed readers a favour, research and write something befitting this icon of culture.

In those days his famous song was Apatsa Mosiyana in the 80s. Specifically he was coming just after Chia Lagoon, based at Chididi Primary school in TA Malenga Chanzi. Rest In Peace ,kaka.

I am beaten! Kaka was my best icon in his early days in musical circles when he was at LILONGWE TEACHER TRAINING COLLEGE as a tutor of music. He used to visiting my home at Falls Estate house No. FE 102. I will always remember his charming and honest discussions we used to share in 80′ and 90’s. May God Almighty guide the bereaved in patching up the holes this death has caused on the family, relatives and government!
